An asterisk next to a recipe number, such as 1* indicates that
1 change was made to one or more recipe settings, but those
changes have not been saved.
2 The number of the currently loaded recipe
Recipe management is controlled through the Inputs.

You cannot load a new recipe while in Remote Recipe

Management.

Although you can save any changes you have made, any
changes will not become part of the active or loaded recipe.
