Running the Example HCF Test
4. Retain the Tuning user access level.
Leave the Operator Type selection set to Tuning because you will do more tuning once the
specimen is installed.

Install the Specimen

Installing the specimen consists of the following tasks:
1.

"Power up the Pump and HPU"

2. "Position the Actuator Using Displacement Control"
3. "Zero Displacement"
4. "Clamp the Specimen in the Lower Grip"
5. "Position the Crosshead"
6. "Move the Specimen into the Upper Grip Using Displacement Control"
7. "Switch to Force Control"
8. "Clamp the Specimen in the Upper Grip"
9. "Check and Reset Meter History"
Power up the Pump and HPU
1. Correct any interlock conditions. If a limit has been exceeded, see
from a Tripped Force Limit"
Displacement Limit"
2. If necessary, reset the interlock.
