illustration shows the battery storage system combined with a compatible energy meter from
Carlo Gavazzi (not included). The current measurement is performed using conversion
transformers. The measuring device can be retrofitted without interrupting the power supply.
The measuring device should be positioned directly at the mains connection point on the low-
voltage side, e.g. near to the central meter that measures the total supply and possibly also
the total feed from the customer's system.

INTILION GmbH offers a range of different energy meters and transformers; for
more information, please contact either your contact partner or the HOPPECKE
Service team.
The energy meter communicates with the battery storage system via a network cable. This
should meet at least category 5 (Cat 5) or higher, and should be shielded. The following
Ethernet port (RJ45) -XF14 should be used on the storage system for the connection of the
meter.
