Information regarding hazards during disassembly

Risk of injury
During disassembly, there is a risk of injuries such as scratches, puncture
wounds or crushing injuries.
•
Cordon off the danger zone.
•
Keep unauthorised persons away from the danger area.
•
Appoint a responsible person for disassembly tasks.
•
Only ever have work performed by trained and authorised
personnel.
•
Wear protective work clothing, protective gloves, safety boots and
a safety helmet.
Risk of injury due to incorrect removal of the lithium-ion batteries
Incorrect removal of the lithium-ion batteries leads to ergonomic hazards.
Proceed as follows when carrying and putting down the lithium-ion
batteries.
•
Position your body as close to the load as possible and make sure
to stand in front of the load where possible.
•
Position your feet at least hip-width apart.
•
Make sure that your feet are fully and securely in contact with the
floor.
•
Use your legs to put down the load; move from the legs.
•
Keep your back naturally straight and avoid a hollow back
•
Avoid jerky movements.
•
Avoid twisting your spine.
•
Carry the load as close to your body as possible.
•
Carry loads at the centre of your body or split between the two
sides of your body.
•
Carry any heavy, unwieldy or bulky loads in pairs.
