5.2 Selecting the installation site
Take the necessary maintenance areas into account when selecting the
installation site.
The amount of free space around the battery storage system must not be below
the dimensions specified in the following illustration (example illustration).

Requirements for the floor area

Loss of stability
A loss of stability can lead to a significant risk of injury.
– The floor area must be even.
– The foundation must have a load-bearing capacity of at least 1 t/m².
The operating company is responsible for the static properties of the
foundation.
