Direct Station Select/Busy Lamp Field Units

The MiVoice Office 250 supports two 60-button DSS/BLF Units and one 50-button PKM (previously
known as the 50-button DSS/BLF Unit). Although you can use either type of unit on any of the older
digital telephones, the type of phone determines which is the more appropriate unit to use.
With 8520 and 8560 digital telephones: PC Data Port Module (PCDPM)-equipped 8520 and
8560 phones support up to four PKM 50 units (previously known as the 8450 50-button DSS/BLF
Unit), part number 550.8450. Up to 20 of the 5-rows-by-10-columns PKM units can be installed
on a system. Each unit is powered by a 450 mA AC transformer and is connected to a PCDPM
installed in the phone. For PCDPM installation instructions, see "Installing a PCDPM" on

1-346.
With Executive, Standard, Professional, and Associate Display digital telephones
PM-equipped Executive, Professional, Standard, and Associate display phones support up to
four 60-button DSS/BLF units each. Up to twenty 60-key DSS/BLF Units can be installed on a
system, or node. Each unit is powered by a 450 mA AC transformer and connected to the PCDPM
