Problem
The mast has stopped
moving upward, or is
moving very slowly.

Possible Cause
Interference to the mast.
Damaged Motor
and Brake Cable.
Damaged or
inoperative Motor.
Malfunctioning
Universal Control Box.
Extension Nuts fail to
synchronize with
Drive Screw.
Original Instructions
Possible Solution
Inspect for and remove
obstructions or tangled
payload cables, or lighten
the payload.
Disconnect the Motor and
Brake Cable from the
mast. Inspect the cable for
continuity and shorts.
Replace faulty cable.
Replace the Motor
Contact authorized service
center for evaluation and
possible return for repair.
Try retracting the mast 76
mm (3 inches) and
approach that region
again. If this does not
work, the Extension Nuts
may be worn out and will
need to be replaced.
Try raising the mast with
the Crank Handle
Assembly. There may be a
burr on the Extension Nut
and action with the Crank
Handle Assembly, which is
not limited by the torque
limits of the Motor, may
power through it. Do not
apply in excess of 50 lb.-ft.
(68 N-m) when using the
Crank Handle Assembly. If
this does not work, the
Extension Nuts may be
worn out and will need to
be replaced.
