Secure engine on the engine and gearbox support - VAS 6095-
using universal mounting.
Secure engine on the engine and gearbox support - 3269- with
engine bracket - VAS 6095- .

Installing engine

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following.
Caution
Observe the following during all assembly work, particularly in
the engine compartment due to the restricted space:
♦ Route lines of any kind and cables so that original routing
is restored.
♦ Ensure that there is sufficient clearance to all moving or
hot components.
– When installing the engine and gearbox assembly, make sure
there is sufficient clearance to the subframe and radiator.
– Align engine mountings as follows:
CC 2012 ➤ , Passat 2011 ➤ , Passat Variant 2011 ➤
