Procedure:
WARNING
The fuel line is under pressure.
Fuel poses danger of injury to eyes and skin.
Wear protective goggles and protective clothing to avoid injury
and contact with the skin. Wrap a cloth around the connection
before loosening hose connections. Then reduce pressure by
carefully opening the connection.
– Pull connector off fuel pressure sender - G247- -A- and re‐
move fuel pressure sender using open ring spanner.
– Unscrew plug -2- and screw fuel pressure sender - G247- into
tester - VAS 6394/1- . Specified torque: 22 Nm.
– Moisten tapered seal of adapter - VAS 6394/3- using clean
engine oil and screw into fuel rail -arrow-. Specified torque:
22 Nm.
