Installing:
Note
Remove the seal from the lower part of intake manifold and place
it back in the upper part of the intake manifold before installation
to prevent leaks.
– Insert seals into upper part of intake manifold and lightly mois‐
ten with clean engine oil.
-1- »Large« O-rings
-2- »Small« O-rings
– Position upper part of intake manifold onto lower part of intake
manifold.
– First tighten securing bolts for upper part of intake manifold/
lower part evenly from inside out -1...5-. Specified torque:
10 Nm
– Then tighten the intake manifold support securing bolts.
Further assembly is basically a reverse of the dismantling se‐
quence.

– Open hose clamps -arrow- and remove breather pipe -A-.
