Removing and installing Lambda probe
- G108-
Special tools and workshop equipment required
♦ Lambda probe open ring spanner set - 3337-
♦ High-temperature paste - G 052 112 A3-
Removing:
– Remove air filter housing with connection hose.
– Separate electrical connector -2- »brown connector« for lamb‐
da probe 2 - G108- .
– Move lambda probe wiring aside.
– Unscrew lambda probe 2 - G108- -2-.
Installing:
– When reusing Lambda probe, lubricate threads with high tem‐
perature paste - G 052 112 A3- . Paste may not come into
contact with slots on probe body.
– Screw lambda probe 2 - G108- -2- into exhaust pipe of bank
2. Identifying feature: brown connector.
Specified torque: 50 Nm
– Restore the original cable routing.
Continue installation in reverse order of removal.
