BLEED AIR FROM HYDRAULIC CIRCUIT
Method for bleeding air from swing motor
1.
Start the engine, and run it with the fuel control dial at MIN (Low idle) position.
2.
Loosen the drain hose (4) slowly to check that oil flows
out.

Do not operate the swing operation this time. Per-
form the following procedure if oil does not flow
out.
1)
Stop the engine.
2)
Disconnect the hose (4), and then fill up the motor
case with oil.
3)
Connect the hose (4), and then repeat Step 1. and
Step 2.
3.
When oil without air starts to flow out, tighten the hose (4).
4.
Swing slowly right and left twice or more.
Method for bleeding air from travel motor
1.
Remove the travel motor cover.
2.
Start the engine, and run it with the fuel control dial at MIN (Low idle) position.
3.
Loosen the bleeder (5) and check that the oil flows out.
4.
When the oil without air starts to flow out, tighten the
bleeder (5).

Bleeder (5):
27.4 to 35.3 Nm {2.8 to 3.6 kgm}
5.
Raise one track off the ground by using the work equip-
ment.
6.
Slowly run the raised track off the ground for 2 minutes.
7.
Run the track off the ground on the opposite side for 2 mi-
nutes in the same manner.
