Comfort Door Closing Aid (LaPerla II)

The door lock latch on the machine is motorized. This is used to close the

position (AutoClose function) and also to further improve drying performance
with the Drying plus function by opening the door automatically at the end of
a wash program.
Note:
The Drying plus function is always active unless it has been deactivated
in the customer programming mode.
To open the door, press the release catch inside the door grip. See Figure 020-3.

Note:
If the door is opened during operation, the dishwasher will stop running.
Once the door is closed the program will restart.
To close the door, push the baskets in, then lift the door and push until the
latch (Figure 020-4) engages. The door will then close automatically.

For the Miele G 1 Series dishwasher model G2141, when the "Intake/Drain" light is on continuously, it typically indicates a fault condition. Based on the context, error codes like F01 or other FXX codes may be shown on the display, and the "Intake/Drain" LED may flash or stay on. Specific error codes are not directly listed for G2141 alone, but models like G2120 and G214x share similar fault indications:

- The “Intake/Drain” LED may flash.
- The time display may show FXX (e.g., F01).
- LEDs like “Wash/Rinse,” “Drying,” and “End” may flash together.

These symptoms generally suggest a fault related to water intake or drainage, such as a blocked filter, kinked hose, or faulty pump.
