Technical Information
Note:
When re-installing, the following must be complied with in order to prevent
leakage problems:
1. Re-install the outer rubber seal.
2. Hook the guide clip in the bottom left area of the SIT behind the spacing
strip.
3. When installing the SIT in the correct position on the door outer panel,
lightly press on it from the outside.
4. Connect the hoses correctly: On top, the hose marked white (to the
water inlet mixer); on the bottom, the hose marked red (to the brine
valve, Y60).
5. Do not screw the retaining screws too tightly.
Before re-installing the outer door panel, carry out the following:
1. Fill the SIT with 700 milliliters of water from the on-site water supply (the
fill level is approximately the height of the overflow threshold).
2. Add 1 kilogram of reactivation salt.
3. Run two reactivation sequences (mini-program V11) using the
component test in service mode (accessing, see Section 080-4.3; mini-
program description, see Section 080-2.2.1) and check the SIT function.

Brine Valve (Y60) Removal
1. Remove the drip pan; see Section 010-4.2.
2. Disconnect the plug connection to the electronic.
3. Remove brine valve Y60 from the guide on the water inlet mixer, and
carefully bend the 2 retaining tabs to one side.
4. Disconnect the hose connection to the salt container in the door (this
prevents air from getting into the system).
Note:
When re-installing, the following must be checked:
It is fundamental that the O-ring in brine valve Y60 be pressed in fully in
order to prevent leakage problems.
Brine valve Y60 must be correctly clipped in position on the water intake
mixer.

Questions and answers
INTAKE AND DRIAN COMES ON ALL THE TIME NEED TO READ WHAT THE CODES ARE FOR THIS UNIT G2141
For the Miele G 1 Series dishwasher model G2141, when the "Intake/Drain" light is on continuously, it typically indicates a fault condition. Based on the context, error codes like F01 or other FXX codes may be shown on the display, and the "Intake/Drain" LED may flash or stay on. Specific error codes are not directly listed for G2141 alone, but models like G2120 and G214x share similar fault indications:
- The “Intake/Drain” LED may flash.
- The time display may show FXX (e.g., F01).
- LEDs like “Wash/Rinse,” “Drying,” and “End” may flash together.
These symptoms generally suggest a fault related to water intake or drainage, such as a blocked filter, kinked hose, or faulty pump.
