F11 Drainage Fault; Non-Return Valve

G 2000 – G 5000 dishwashers:
When diagnosing a drainage fault, F11, or intake-drain condition, one of the
components that should be inspected is the non-return valve. Routinely, we
would check to see that the valve is free of blockages and that the steel ball
moves freely. The last point to check should be the on the discharge side of
the valve. Looking directly into the discharge tube, you will see a small keel,
or rib, molded into the plastic valve body. The purpose of this rib is to prevent
the steel ball from rolling up against, and possibly blocking, the discharge
tube. If this small rib seems to be damaged in any way, replace the non-
return valve.
Noises while draining:
Some customers may report hearing a rattling noise when the drain pump
runs. This is completely normal. The non-return valve is designed in such a
way that the excursion of the steel ball will repeatedly traverse the length of
the valve body to prevent and/or clear any debris from collecting there. The
noise is usually intermittent. Replacing the valve or re-routing the drain line
will have no effect on the noise.

G 2143; G 2472 Lower Spray Arms

Recent memos have circulated regarding the possibility of improving wash
results by replacing the lower spray arms on these models. Replacing the
lower spray arm may improve washability under certain conditions. The
original part number for the spray arm was 06049560, which updates to
09097831. The new spray arm can be used as a replacement for any
dishwasher using the old part number.
Note: The following models monitor spray arm rotation by detecting a
small magnet installed at the end of the spray arm: G 2630, G 2732, G
2670, G 2830, G 2832, G 2872.
Replacement parts do not include this magnet, so it must be transferred to
the new spray arm. This is a simple procedure. See the photos below. If a
