Ingredients
1 can (170g) crabmeat, drained, flaked
and cartilage removed
½ cup soft bread crumbs
¼ cup shredded carrot
1 large egg, lightly beaten
1 tbs butter, melted
1 tsp minced fresh parsley
1 tsp mayonnaise
¾ tsp Worcestershire sauce
¼ tsp ground mustard
1/8 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
Tartar sauce, optional
Baked Crab Cakes
Cooking time: 12-20m – Temperature: 176°C
Method
1. In a large bowl, combine all
ingredients except for tartar sauce.
Shape into four patties; cover and
refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
2. Place crab cakes on a baking sheet
coated with cooking spray. Bake at
176°C for 25 minutes or until golden
brown. Serve with tartar sauce if
desired.
