Set the GPS Output Frequency
GPS Output controls the frequency at which data from the GPS Receiver is sent to the control head. Select 10 Hz to receive the
most GPS updates on the display.
HELIX G3/G3N and older
1. Main Menu (Custom User Mode): Press the MENU key
twice. Select the Setup tab.
2. Select GPS Output.
3. Press the RIGHT or LEFT Cursor keys to select a setting.
Turn on/off GPS GLONASS
Use the following instructions to use GLONASS.
HELIX G3/G3N and older
1. Main Menu (Custom User Mode): Press the MENU key
twice. Select the Setup tab.
2. Select GPS GLONASS.
3. Select On or Off.
Turn on/off NMEA 0183 Output
NMEA Output should be turned on if you connect the NMEA Output wires of an accessory GPS receiver (external) or heading sensor
cable to another NMEA-compatible device, such as an autopilot. See the accessory guide for details. Accessory guides can be
downloaded from our Web site at humminbird.com.
HELIX G3/G3N and older
1. Main Menu (Custom User Mode): Press the MENU key
twice. Select the Setup tab.
2. Select NMEA 0183 Output.
3. Select On or Off.
HELIX G4N
1. Main Menu (Custom User Mode): Press the MENU key
twice. Select the Data Sources tab.
2. Select GPS Settings and press the RIGHT Cursor key to
open the GPS Settings menu.
3. Select GPS Output.
4. Press the RIGHT or LEFT Cursor keys to select a setting.
HELIX G4N
1. Main Menu (Custom User Mode): Press the MENU key
twice. Select the Data Sources tab.
2. Select GPS Settings and press the RIGHT Cursor key to
open the GPS Settings menu.
3. Select GPS GLONASS.
4. Select On or Off.
HELIX G4N
1. Main Menu (Custom User Mode): Press the MENU key
twice. Select the Data Sources tab.
2. Select NMEA 0183 Output.
3. Select On or Off.
