Theelectricalmachineisdesignedforalargetemperaturerange.Thecoolantcanreachatemperature
ofupto70 °Cattheinput(supply).Andalthoughtheelectricalmachinedemonstrateslesslosses
duringenergyconversionthanacombustionengine,itshousingcanabsorbatemperatureofupto
100 °C.
Dangerofinjury:Thehousingoftheelectricalmachinecanabsorbtemperaturesofupto100 °C
duringoperation.Asufficientlylongtimemustbewaitedforcoolingifworkistobeperformed,for
exampletheremovalofthedriveunit.
Sensors
Inordertoavoiddamagetothecomponentsduetothehightemperature,therearetwotemperature
sensorsintheelectricalmachineoftheI01.Bothtemperaturesensorsarelocatedinthecoils
ofthestator.Thetemperatureoftherotorisnotmeasureddirectly,butcanbedeterminedfrom
themeasuredvaluesofthetemperaturesensorsinthestator.Thetwotemperaturesensorsare
temperature-dependentresistorsoftypeNTC.Theirsignalsarereadinandevaluatedanalogicallyby
theelectricalmachineelectronics.
