forcharging.ThereisalsoalinewhichiswireddirectlyfromtheLIMtotheconveniencecharging
electronics.OnlywhentheLIMenablesthechargingprocedureviaasignalonthisline,doesthe
conveniencechargingelectronicsstartthevoltageconversionandthusthechargingprocedure.
Thehigh-voltageconnectorsoftheconveniencechargingelectronicsarealsointegratedinthecircuit
ofthehigh-voltageinterlockloop.Viathelow-voltageconnectionthetestsignalisforwardedtothe
high-voltageinterlockloopandtotheotherhigh-voltagecomponents.TheKLEcontrolunitmonitors
thetestsignalandinterruptsthechargingprocedureifitisnotinthespecifiedrange.
High-voltageconnections
Therearethreehigh-voltageconnectionsattheconveniencechargingelectronicstoconnectthe
high-voltagecablestothechargingsocket(1x)andtotheelectricalmachineelectronics(2x).Ifthe
I01vehicleisequippedwitharangeextender,theconveniencechargingelectronicshasanotherhigh-
voltageconnectioninordertoconnecttherangeextenderelectricalmachineelectronicsREME.
