linesarealsoshieldedandendataconnectorinthecharginginterfacemodule(LIM).Theprotective
earthisconnectedelectricallytogroundincloseproximitytothechargingsocket.Thisensuresproper
grounding.
AC-shapedfiber-opticconductorrunsaroundthechargingsocketatthevehicle.WiththisC-shaped
fiber-opticconductoritispossibletoshowthestatusforcharging.Thelightingofthefiber-optic
conductoriseffectedusingtwoLEDswhicharecontrolledbytheLIM.
Thechargingsocketatthevehiclecanonlybereplacedtogetherwiththehigh-voltagecableasone
unit.
6.2.5.Charginginterfacemodule(LIM)
TheLIMenablescommunicationbetweenthevehicleandchargingstation.Thevoltagesupplyofthe
LIMcontrolunitiseffectedbyterminal30F.ThereisaterminatingresistorforthePT-CANintheLIM.
TheLIMcanalsowakeupthecontrolunitsinthevehicleelectricalsystemwhenthechargingcableis
connected.ThereisalsoalinewhichrunsdirectlyfromtheLIMcontrolunittotheelectricalmachine
electronics.OnlywhentheLIMcontrolunitenablesthechargingprocedureviaasignalonthisline,
doestheelectricalmachineelectronicsstartthevoltageconversionandthusthechargingprocedure.
