7.3 Removing Sliding Door Fasteners

Prerequisites
The pre-fab. modules have been installed.
Preparations
Tool: adjustable wrench
Materials: none

Skill requirement: common technician
Context
The three hot aisle sealing doors and the door between the entrance hall and the equipment
compartment in a pre-fab. module are all glass sliding doors. Fasteners are installed on the
glass sliding doors to prevent the doors from being damaged during transportation.
After pre-fab. modules are installed and secured, the fasteners need to be removed so that the
sliding doors can work properly.
Procedure
Step 1 Remove the bolts from the sliding door fasteners using an adjustable wrench, and remove the
sliding door fasteners.
Issue 03 (2020-06-09)
Keep the removed sliding door fasteners for future use in case the pre-fab. modules need to be relocated.
