Positioning Monitors

Precautions
Move the Monitor Cart arms carefully to avoid clamping fingers or other body parts
between elements of the Monitor Cart arms or other system joints.
When moving one monitor, be aware that the second monitor may also move
unintentionally.
Touchscreen colors may be displayed incorrectly if the monitor is not positioned correctly.
The user's line of vision must be perpendicular to the touchscreen to ensure that colors
are viewed correctly.
Moving Parts
Be extremely careful not to clamp fingers or other body parts when positioning the monitors.
Monitor Cart joints that may clamp body parts include, but are not limited to:
Monitor arm to move articulated arm up/down
Monitor arm to rotate articulated arm
Monitor arm axis
Standard Positioning Procedure Overview
Follow these standard procedures points when adjusting monitor position:
• Move lower arm before upper arm.
• Move inner joints first, working your way outward.
• Follow the direction located on the parking position labels.
