Cart Arms and Monitors

General Information
The Monitor Cart is equipped with one or two touchscreen monitors.
Viewing options vary depending on the software application and user preferences. For more
information see the relevant Software User Guide.
The Curve system has two touchscreens, with which numerous combinations are possible for
displaying Brainlab software, including and external data sources.
Not for Diagnostic Use
The Curve touchscreen does not comply with DIN EN 6868 and it is not intended for
diagnostic use. Video images are not suitable for diagnostic use.
Monitor Components

Touchscreen Use
• When the system is powered on, the touchscreens are always on and can be used.
• Only one interaction is recognized at a time.
• Depending on the software used, input on one touchscreen may affect what is displayed on the
other (see relevant Software User Guide).
• Position monitors so as to not interfere with surgery or movement of the OR staff.
• Check display quality prior to surgery.
Only one person should interact with the touchscreens at a time. Simultaneous input can
lead to misinterpretations.
Do not allow liquids to come in contact with the foam surrounding the monitor frame and
touchscreen. This can lead to temporary adverse effects to touchscreen functionality. In
case fluids accidentally come in contact the display, dry them off as quickly as possible.
Clean the touchscreens before use.
