Long Term Storage
General Information
Before and after placing the system into storage for an extended period of time, steps must be
taken to ensure proper functioning.
Storage for 1-6 Months
Before storing system for one to six months:

If you do not intend to use the system again, please follow the disposal information on page 8.

Make sure that the UPS battery is fully charged.
Unplug all external cabling and store it together with the equipment.
Cover camera and monitors with protection covers.
Store equipment in a dry place with a temperature between 21°C (70°F) to 30°C (86°F).
Clean the equipment (see page 127).
Fully recharge UPS battery (see page 32).
Start system and verify correct function before using it for surgery (see page 95).
Contact Brainlab support to remove the UPS Battery from the equipment.
Unplug all external cabling and store it together with the equipment.
Cover camera and monitors with protection covers.
Store equipment in a dry place with a temperature between 21°C (70°F) to 30°C (86°F).
Clean the equipment (see page 127).
Contact Brainlab support to install a new UPS battery.
