[813] Floating Number Assignment

Description
Assigns the floating numbers for the External Pager, Digital Test Access (DTA), Second Ringer
and Hunting Groups. These numbers can be used the same way extension numbers are used for
station access.
Selection
• Floating station:
Pager (External Pager)/DTA/2nd Ringer (Second Ringer)/Hunt Grp (Hunting Group) 01
through 32
• Floating number:
2 to 4 digits/No floating number
Default
Pager = 296, Ringer = 298, Hunting Group = Not Stored, DTA = 399
Programming
1.
Enter 813.
Display: FLT EXT NO.
2.
Press NEXT to program Pager.
Display example: Pager
To program another floating station, keep pressing NEXT or PREV until the desired
floating station is displayed.
3.
Enter a floating number.
To program no floating number, press CLEAR.
To change the current entry, press CLEAR and the new floating number.
4.
Press STORE.
5.
To program another floating station, keep pressing NEXT or PREV until the desired
floating station is displayed.
6.
Repeat steps 3 through 5.
7.
Press END.
Conditions
• A floating number is composed of 2 to 4 numerical digits, 0 through 9.
• The leading 1 or 2 digits of the floating numbers are subject to program [100] Flexible
Numbering, (01) through (16) 1st through 16th hundred extension blocks.
