After cleaning
Note:
The red and green lights that are visible inside the
clear part are LED lights. They cannot damage
your eyes.
If the ink stains cannot be removed completely,
return to step 4 and instead of water use the ink
cleaner provided with the maintenance kit to do
the cleaning again.

Use the same procedure to clean the Sensor
Cover on the right, also.
Do steps 4 to 6.

After you finish cleaning both Sensor Covers,
close the left side of the Printer Cover, and then
press Done on the control panel screen.

Check the on-screen messages, and then press
OK.
The platen moves to its normal position.

If The Sensor Cover cannot be recognized. appears
If this message appears immediately after you finish
cleaning, then cleaning was insufficient. Do the cleaning
again.
Clean around the print head and
the edges of the metal
If the printing surface and other areas are dirty even
after performing Head Cleaning several times, fibers,
such as lint, may have accumulated around the print
head nozzles and edges of the metal. Follow the steps
below to clean them.

Do not move the print head or the platen manually.
A malfunction may occur.
Before starting this procedure, be sure to read the

Confirm that the power is turned on, and then
press in the order of
Cleaning the Maintenance Parts - Around the
Head.

Check the message, and then press Start.
The platen moves to the maintenance position.

Open the right side of the printer cover.
