The left side shows the temperature and humidity around the printer, and the right side shows the current time and
a guide to buttons that can be operated.
The
icon is displayed when the temperature around the printer exceeds approximately 30˚C. If you continue to
use the printer while this is displayed, the frequency of maintenance cleanings
printer is used below 30˚C. Reduce the room temperature or temporarily stop printing to reduce the temperature
around the print head.
* This is head cleaning that the printer automatically does, after a period of time has passed, to keep the print heads
in good condition.

Platen Gap/Platen Position
The top side displays the settings for the Platen Gap for the currently selected media settings.
The bottom side displays the current position of the platen gap lever.
Pressing this area displays the setting screen for the Platen Gap.

Notice on when to do maintenance cleaning
Displays the time remaining until maintenance cleaning. There may be large variations in the time when it is
executed depending on the temperature around the print heads.
Pressing this area displays the following items on the screen.
Time remaining until maintenance cleaning is executed
Time, or number of pages printed, until Periodic Cleaning is executed
Menu to execute preventive cleaning
When it is almost time to implement maintenance cleaning, implementing cleaning in advance is effective at preventing
printing from being interrupted.

When there are notifications, such as about running low on consumables,

. Pressing Message List, in the screen that appears when this button is pressed, displays a list of notifi‐
cations for matters that need to be handled. You can check detailed information and the handling procedure for an
item by pressing it in the list. Items are deleted from the list as those items are handled.

(Printing jobs in USB memory)
You can select and then print/delete print jobs in a USB memory. This is only enabled when a USB memory is
connected.
