Note:
Pads that have been stuck to the platen for a long
time may be hard to peel off. In this case, use a
commercially available spatula for peeling off
labels.
If any glue remains on the platen, soak a soft cloth
in a diluted neutral detergent, wring it out
thoroughly, and then wipe off the glue.
Switching from Polo to Zipper
(only when using the medium
grooved platen)
When loading media with a protruding section in the
center such as a zipper, remove the square part before
use.
For other media, install the square part.

Remove the platen's frame.

Remove the screw.
Basic Printing

Remove the parts.
Slide in the direction shown in (1), and then
remove it.
You need the removed screw and parts when
loading polo shirts and so on. Store them in a safe
place. We recommend keeping the screw
attached to the platen.
To install the parts, perform the removal
procedure in reverse.
Note:
When installing, align the protruding shaft with the hole
as shown in the following illustration.

Replacing platens

A
Check that the platen is ejected forward.
If it is not ejected, press the } button to move the
platen forward.

Turn off the printer.
