9.1.3 Data Compare

Main Menu > Inspection > Barcode > Data Compare
Use the Data Compare menu options to set up the sensor for Data Compare. Note that if the Barcode Count is greater than
1, only the first barcode data can be compared or used in a remote teach operation. Turn on annotations to see which
barcode is first.
Compare
Use this screen to enable or disable Data Compare. If Data Compare is enabled, data can be defined in the Compare Data
screen. The data can be retrieved from a previously scanned barcode, or it can be entered using the software keyboard on
the display, and insignificant characters can be masked within the data.
Set Data/Compare Data
Use the Compare Data screen to specify data against which a read barcode is compared. Note that, if the Barcode Count is
greater than 1, only the first barcode data can be compared or used in a remote teach operation. To see which barcode is
the first one, turn on annotations.
