DeviceTest Tool
A diagnostic tool, named DeviceTest, is available in this release to test some software and
hardware capabilities of the device. Its activation might be required by Customer Support to
analyze some issues. The test requires the customer to be in front of the device and to check
some parameters or results. For instance, the LED tests allows to change colors of the front,
central and right LEDs; the customer should visually test that the colors are correct and mark the
test as passed.
Test results, if saved, will be collected in the next created Customer Support Package as result.log
files.

Release Notes for Avaya IX Collaboration Unit CU360
When downloading an existing log package file, the system displays an alert and
prompts the user to create a new file if the existing file is outdated. A file is considered
outdated if it is older than two hours.
Select the link to download the log package file onto the computer.
Send the file to your customer support representative.
In this release it is no longer possible to filter log events by specifying to get last "XX"
minutes.
Caution!
Please activate this tool only with proper Customer Support assistance and guidance,
it could degrade the performances of the system. Never use the tool while a meeting
or a call is in progress.
After using the tool, it is also suggested to reboot the device, or be sure that the tool
is closed and not running in the background.
