Avaya Outlook Plugin for Outlook (Meeting Details)
Defining a FQDN Meeting mapping allows your video endpoint to join the meeting with a
single click on the calendar item shown on the endpoint UX or Web interface.
The endpoint applies the mapping to automatically generate the number to dial from the
meeting location contained in the calendar entry.
The meeting location is usually in the format
https://<MeetingFQDN>/portal/tenants/default/?ID=<MeetingID>
To generate a mapping to join any meeting (Virtual Room) hosted in this Equinox
Conferencing Solution, create a New FQDN as follows.
Click New FQDN (or edit an existing FQDN).

Meeting FQDN: matches what is after" https://" and before "/portal" in the Location,
https://<MeetingFQDN>/portal/tenants/default/?ID=<MeetingID>
Dialing FQDN: FQDN or IP Address of the Sip Server or Gatekeeper/PathFinder
used in this Equinox Conferencing Solution. Can be empty if your endpoint is
registered to a GK/PF/SipServer that can place a call in this solution or in other
solutions adding a prefix to the VR. If your endpoint is external and not registered to
this Solution, use the address specified in the invitation details after the@ ("Room
Device Access" section). Otherwise usually it is the GK address or SIP server as
configured in the Equinox Management for this solution. Ask to your IT administrator
for support.
Prefix: If your endpoint is registered to a GK or a PF or a SIP Server, this entity
could require a prefix to reach a VR in another solution. For instance, you can add
281 to reach meetings in OnAvaya when registered to PreAlpha.
Call Protocol: H323/SIP
