How to Setup a Delegate Account for a Room in Exchange
2016
When an Exchange Room Resource is associated with an Avaya Video Endpoint in a
physical room, the room's TV display shows the meetings scheduled for the day in the room.
Members of your organization can schedule a meeting in that room by adding the room to
the meeting as Room Resource. Such physical rooms are reserved as a calendar resource
through the Exchange Calendar service.
Authorizing a video endpoint to have access to calendar resource associated to the Room
Resource enables users to start and join meetings in a snap.
Before you can use the calendar service for Rooms, an Exchange administrator must do the
following steps, if not already done:
After the Exchange administrator completes these steps, you use the delegate user
credentials to configure the Calendar service for a specific room in the corresponding video
endpoint settings.
