Replacing the shutter

The shutter blocks the light coming into the projector lens.
The illustrations in this topic are for representation only and may not depict your projector model
exactly.
1. Remove the top cover (on page 42).
2. Remove the light engine cover (on page 79).
3. Remove the light dump (on page 80).
4. Disconnect harness connector (J90) from the HKBC board.
5. Remove the two screws securing the shutter to the light engine and remove it.
6. Replace the shutter, if required.
7. To re-install, repeat these steps in reverse order.
