S-Tine Tire Track Remover Kit -
Optional
IMPORTANT
S-Tines should not be operated any deeper than
necessary to remove Tractor Tire Tracks. Otherwise,
wet soil is brought up and will stick to the Front
Roller Wheels, the S-Tine draft load is increased, and
under some conditions, the S-Tines may deflect back
to Front Roller and break.
NOTE
This S-Tine Tire Track Remover Kit is furnished with 6
S-Tines. Additional S-Tines can be purchased and
installed or fewer S-Tines can be used.
1. Assemble the S-Tine Brackets to the front of Seeder
Frame Tube with 1/2-13 x 7-1/2 x 4-1/2 U-Bolts, Lock
Washers and Nuts.
Do Not tighten at this time.

2. Attach the Tooth Tube to the S-Tine Brackets
approximately 5 inches from each end of the Tooth
Tube with Straps, 1/2-13 x 6 Bolts, Lock Washers
and Nuts. See Figure 2-53.
3. Center Tooth Tube in relationship with the Drawbar
or 3Pt Hitch and Tighten U-Bolts.
4. Attach the S-Tines onto the Tooth Tube in the
desired position to cover the Tractor Tire Tracks with
Clamps, 7/16-14 x 3-1/2 Carriage Bolts and
Locknuts.
5. The suggested pattern is to assemble the Reversible
Point onto the center S-Tine and a Duck Foot Point
on the S-Tine on either side of the center S-Tine with
3/8-16 x 1-3/4 Plow Bolt and Flanged Locknut.
NOTE
You can add a Scraper Kit to 8 or 10 Ft Seeders. See
Figure 2-52. Attach the outer RH and LH Angle Brackets
to the S-Tine Brackets. You may need to reposition the
S-Tine Brackets for proper placement of the Scraper
Assembly. Scraper Kit Outer Brackets are not used.
