Changing the chassis ID

If you convert a floorstand model into a rack model and vice versa, you also
have to change the chassis ID, which can be called up via the connector X150
on the power backplane (figure 62 on page 116). The ServerStart CD contains
the SCU software tool for this purpose.
To change the chassis ID, proceed as follows:
Ê Insert the ServerStart CD into the CD-ROM drive of the server.
Ê Boot the server using the ServerStart CD.
Ê Call the SCU program.
Ê Follow the instructions of the SCU program which are displayed via the
graphical user interface.
When the program is completed, the correct chassis ID for the server has been
set.
