10.4 Upgrading second SCSI backplane
(1-inch HD subsystems)

In the basic 1-channel configuration, only one SCSI backplane is
mounted. In the 2-channel configuration, a optional second SCSI
backplane can be upgraded. Before upgrading, the metal cover has to be
removed, and the delivered divider plate has to be mounted.
Ê Remove the cage for the hard disk drives (see section "Removing the cage
for the hard disk drives" on page 99).

CAUTION!
Take care that the cables are not damaged when pulling out the cage.
The cable has to be carefully guided through the divider aperture of
the server.

Ê With a screwdriver of type TX20, remove the four fastening screws (1).
Ê Pull the metal cover out of the cage in the direction of the arrow (2).
