Converting 1 to 2-channel version (1.6-inch HD subsystem)
Ê Remove the cage for the hard disk drives (see section "Removing the cage
for the hard disk drives" on page 99).
Ê Remove the SCSI cable (4) and the OLR control cable (5). These cables are
no longer required.
Ê Plug the delivered LVD/STM module onto the second SCSI backplane.
Ê Plug the free connector (ST2) of the I2C bus cable (3) onto the connector X3
on the new LVD/STM module as shown in figure 49.
Ê Connect the delivered SCSI cable (7) to the SCSI-IN connector on the SCSI
backplane 2 as shown in figure 49.
