10.6 Converting a floorstand model into a rack
model
The delivery comprises of the conversion kit for the rack model and the instal-
lation kit for the 19-inch rack.
Conversion kit: floorstand model to rack model
– 1 front panel
– 1 articulated cable guide
– 1 power cable
– 2 spacer plates 2.5 mm
– screws
– 6 screws Torx-M4 for attaching the spacer square, the spacer strip, the
double Z square, and the mounting base for the articulated cable guide
– 1 mounting template
– documentation
Installation kit for the rack
– 2 telescope bars with carrier rails (left and right)
– 1 complete articulated cable guide (mounting base, mounting square, snap-
in and mounting bracket) for the 19-inch rack (23/42 HE)
– 1 carrier rail and the cable management for the DataCenter rack
You need following from the installation package of the rack:
– 8 spring nuts
– 8 Allen screws
– No. 5 Allen key
To convert the server, you will require a Torx-TX20 screwdriver and a pencil for
making marks on the rack.

Self-threading screws are used in some places. These screws must be
screwed into the holes with a small amount pressure, as they are hard to
turn until the thread is cut.
