Configuration without ServerStart
Configuring the disk array controller
If your server is fitted with a disk array controller, you must configure it as
described in the related documentation and/or in the readme files on the corre-
sponding driver diskettes.
Configuring the onboard SCSI controller
Configure the onboard SCSI controller as described in the technical manual for
the system board and/or in the readme files on the corresponding driver
diskettes.
4.4.3
Installing the operating system
Ê Insert the installation disk and the CD of the operating system you want to
install.
Ê Reboot the server.
Ê Follow the instructions on the screen and in the manual for the operating
system.
If your server is equipped with a disk array controller, then please read how to
install the desired operating system in the related manual.
