Note:
For the time being, this feature cannot be used with activated
WPA. If you do select WPA / WPA-PSK, nevertheless, only the
Access Point will secure its data traffic. Data transmitter over the
WDS link will remain unsecured.
If you choose WEP however, both, the Access Point and the WDS
link will use WEP security.
• Enable WDS
Check this field if you want to activate WDS to other access points.
• WDS Port 1 - 6
Here, you can enter maximally 6 MAC addresses of other access
points which are to be connected via WDS. You can activate or deac-
tivate the WDS ports individually. Note that the MAC address of the
ComPoint also has to be entered for the communication partners.
If you want to activate the settings you have made, confirm this by
clicking Save. Otherwise, you can discard the changes by clicking
Cancel.
