The User Interface of the ComPoint

This chapter describes the structure of the browser-based user

interface and explains how to start it. The interface may look dif-

ferent depending on the browser used (Internet Explorer,

Netscape, Opera, etc.). In our example, the Internet Explorer was

used for the purpose of configuration.

You have 2 options to start the interface:

•

Starting directly via the browser

•

Starting via the Configuration menu in the ComPoint Manager

Option 1—Starting via the Browser

1. Start the browser which you normally use, e.g. Microsoft

Internet Explorer.

2. Enter the IP address of the ComPoint into the address line,

e.g.: http://192.168.1.51

Option 2—Starting via the ComPoint Manager

1. In the ComPoint Manager main window, select the

ComPoint you wish to access.

2. Select Configuration > Web or use the right mouse button

and select Web from the pop-up menu.

A browser window appears.
