• Firmware Version
Shows the firmware version currently installed on the ComPoint.
Note:
Firmware upgrades should only be made if problems occur with the
currently used firmware or if a newer firmware version with desired
new features is available. For details about how to make a firmware
upgrade, please refer to
Page 2–14.
Interface
• MAC Address
The MAC address of the ComPoint.
• IP Address Mode
DHCP or static: Specifies whether the IP address of the ComPoint was
determined statically or assigned by a DHCP server.
• IP Address
The IP address of the ComPoint.
• Subnet Mask
Subnet mask of the network in which the ComPoint is located.
• Gateway Address
Shows the IP address of your default gateway.
Wireless
• Wireless Status
Shows whether the ComPoint is currently connected with an access
point. Possible values are: associated or searching.
• Network Name
Network name assigned to the ComPoint (SSID). The network name
serves to logically assign clients. In AC operation, no network name is
factory-set. The AC will therefore try to log on to any available access
point, irrespective of its network name. This setting is also called
"ANY".
• Channel
The active channel of the access point where the ComPoint AC is
operated. This setting is adopted from the access point in question.
• MAC Address of AccessPoint
Displays the MAC address of the access point to which the client is
logged on.
