each subsequent character sent to the printer
to logical 0. This code should not be used to
transmit printer control codes.

This command forces the eighth data bit of
each subsequent character sent to the printer
to logical 1. This code allows users with a 7-
bit interface to access those characters whose
ASCII code is greater than 127. This code
should not be used to transmit printer control
codes.
