This command causes the printer to select an
international character set determined by the
value of n as shown in the table below:

You can select a particular international char-
acter set as a power-on default by adjusting
the settings of DIP switches A-6, A-7, and A-8.

Select the NLQ (Near Letter Quality) char-
acter set.

This command causes all subsequent print-
ing to be done with the NLQ (Near Letter
Quality) character set. This character set can-
not be used in conjunction with other font
styles or special print modes except for un-
derlining. You can set NLQ characters as the
power-on default by turning DIP switch A-4
Off.
