Direction selection
Description
The "RI-AUSW" block for the direction selection specifies the optimal angle of rotation
between actual and setpoint position of a magazine. Actual position, setpoint and special
position can be taken from the submagazine-specific user interface.
As long as the start signal has a "1 signal", all output parameters are updated cyclically. If the
start signal is "0", only the error bit and the difference between actual and setpoint position - if
necessary, taking into account a special position - are updated.
During direction selection with special positioning, i.e. input "SOPO" > 0, a new setpoint is
calculated from setpoint, special position as well as the number of magazine locations
according to the following equation:
New setpoint pos. = (Setpoint pos. - (Special pos. - 1)) neg.modulo # locations
The new setpoint corresponds to the locator No. at which the magazine has to be positioned
so that the setpoint stipulated by the user can be found under the locator No. of the special
position. Direction optimization is active both with and without special positioning.
The block has to be called once per magazine using the corresponding parameter assignment.
