FB 128 TRANSFER
Transfer
Description
FB 128 "Transfer" is used for every relocate function required during a tool change. For every
relocate function, the FB parameters must be assigned and the block started again. After every
data transfer from the tool buffer and/or loading memory to the magazine, all memory locations
of the source data are deleted. During data transfer from the tool-holding magazine to the tool
buffer and/or loading memory, however, machine data bit 12 "With configuration" allows only a
partial deletion of the memory locations of the source data.
The data specifying the tool size and the type of tool holder are not deleted, however. In
addition, the magazine and locator numbers of the old location are stored in the DB status
word (DBZW) for every data transfer from magazine to tool buffer and/or loading memory. This
is not a matter of fixed location coding since in this case the old location is used only to enable
the user to return the tool to the old location, if necessary.
During a transfer to a background magazine, the identification bit 11 "Tool has already been
used", bit 12 "Tool is required repeatedly" and bit 13 "Tool is required" are deleted. If
identification bit 6 "Disable tool at end of program" is set, bit 10 "Tool disabled" is also set.
When bit 10 is set, the identification bits 0 "Prewarning limit reached" and bit 6 "Disable tool
at end of program" are deleted. During transfer into a turret, any adapter data assigned to the
turret location are calculated and entered in the P memories P8 and P9 of every D number
assigned to the tool.
Options for assigning the destination and source parameters:
Target magazine No. "ZMNR" = 0 and target locator No. "ZPNR" = 0
The source tool, which is addressed via QMNR and QPNR, is transferred to its old
location. If no old location can be determined or QMNR is >< 0 (source location is
neither a tool buffer nor a loading memory), the transfer is aborted with an error message.
Warning: If the old location is a tool buffer or loading memory (e.g. direct loading of the
tool buffer or loading memory via operator panel or the data distributor), a retransfer to the
old location is not possible.
Magazine No. = 0 and 1 <= Locator No. <= MD 2001
Target and/or source refer to the tool buffer.
Magazine No. = 0 and locator No. > 100
Target and/or source refer to the loading memory.
If a loading memory is to be loaded and/or unloaded, an offset of 100 must be added to its
locator No. The number of locations in the loading memory is defined by the machine data
MD 2000.
Magazine No. >< 0 and locator No. > 0
Target and/or source refer to a magazine location.
Magazine No. >< 0 and locator No. = 0
Not defined, will cause an error condition.
If a data transfer cannot be carried out, the error output is set and an error number stored
in DB status word DBZW/DW 224.
