Terminate tape
Description
The function block does not start while the data distributor is making an entry in the loading
line; otherwise, an error message is output (DB 146, D 2.7 "Data distributor running").
The user has two options for terminating "Loading via tape":
Terminate tape
All tools specified on the tape are already loaded, the tape has finished and the loading line
contains no tool data.
Since this state is not known to the function block, it deletes the loading line unnecessarily,
declares all D numbers of the reference list unassigned, with the exception of one deleted D
number, and acknowledges the data distributor negatively. Since the "Tape" function block FB
155 has already terminated the data distributor by that time, the negative acknowledgement is
not evaluated.
The "Loading via tape" is terminated without error (not aborted)!
Abort tape
Not all tools have yet been loaded via tape. The function block deletes the loading line,
declares all D numbers of the reference list unassigned, with the exception of one deleted D
number, and enters a negative acknowledgement for the data distributor. The data distributor
evaluates this negative acknowledgement and aborts the "Tape" function block FB 155 with an
error message.
If a tool was entered in the loading line at the time of the abort ("End tape" softkey), this tool
will not be loaded.
"Loading via tape" is aborted (not terminated without error)!
Special features:
• User acknowledgement
The dynamic softkey signal (F 238.1) must be assigned by the user program either to the
positive user acknowledgement (F 241.1) or to the negative user acknowledgement
(F 240.1) within the same cycle. The user acknowledgement may be present for only one
cycle (by logic operation with the dynamic softkey signal).
