PNEUMATIC SUPPLY
The lung ventilator is supplied with a pneumatic hose including a DISS
(Diameter Index Safety System). The installation technician taking care of
the hose connection to the outlet must ensure that they are compatible with
the hospital medical gas pipeline system.
WARNING !! Unit failure risk
In order that the lung ventilator operates as specified, the input medical
gas pressure should be between 280 kPa and 600 kPa (2.8 - 6 bar / 40
- 86 psi).
Before using the lung ventilator, make sure that this requirement is met.
After connecting the medical gas supply hose, make sure that the
system works properly.
