10. Insert the other end of the Ethernet cable to a PC for the network setup.
11. Plug the power cord into the wall socket and turn on the main power of the machine.
• Do not unplug the USB cable while the machine is initializing this option (this may take 30-60
sec.)
• The LEDs on the Ethernet port of the interface board will light after initialization is complete.
• If the machine is accidentally unplugged, connect the cable again.
12. Print out the "Configuration Page".
13. Confirm that the machine has recognized this option:
Test Page > Configuration Page
14. Enter the SP mode.
15. Open SP5985-002 (On Board USB) and set "0" to "1".

After this option is installed and initialized by the main machine, the LED indicators light up under the
following conditions.
