To verify stack operations, perform the following procedure:
1. Start a local management session on either switch. Refer to "Starting a
Local Management Session" on page 86.
2. From the User Exec mode, enter the SHOW STACK command:
awplus> show stack
The command lists the switches in the stack. An example is shown in
Figure 58.

Here are things to check:
The command should list both switches. If the list has only one
switch, refer to Chapter 10, "Troubleshooting" on page 139.
The Operational Status field should display "Normal operations,"
indicating that all trunk ports are linked to their counterparts. If not
all trunk ports are linked up, the field displays "Not all stack ports
are up."
The priority values will be 128, the default value, if you have not
changed them.
There is no relationship between ID numbers and the master
switch. Consequently, the active master in the SHOW STACK
command might not be the switch with the ID number 1.
3. Do one of the following:
If you want to change the priority values of the switches, go to
"Setting the Priority Numbers" on page 99. This step is optional.
Otherwise, go to Chapter 9, "Cabling the Networking Ports" on
page 131, to complete with the installation.
